Format the Text of Pages and Blog Posts (Classic Editor)

Format the Text of Pages and Blog Posts (Classic Editor)

Text Formatting

Sub-headings, bold, italics, lists, and blockquotes make texts stand out more and less boring. Furthermore, headings give your texts structure and make them easier skimmable for your readers. This tutorial will show you how you can add these formats.

Sometimes you would like to link to another website, page or post within your blog posts or pages. This tutorial will show you how to do this inside the classic editor.

Please be aware that this tutorial is using the classic editor. Adding a link inside the new Gutenberg editor or the Divi visual builder will be a similar concept inside their text modules, but it will not be exactly the same. You will still be able to select the text and click a link icon to add a link though.
