Manage stock in your shop [WooCommerce]

Manage stock in your shop [WooCommerce]

In this tutorial, you will learn how to manage the stock of the products in your WooCommerce shop in your WordPress website.

Detailed edit:

1.  Go to products and click on the product name

2.  Scroll down to ‘product data’ and go to the ‘Inventory’ tab

3.  Make sure the ‘Manage stock?’ checkbox is checked

4.  Add in the ‘stock quantity’ as the amount you have left in stock of that product

5.  Set the ‘Low stock threshold’ to the amount of stock where you would like to be notified that your stock is running low (e.g. if you need 3 weeks to order new stock and sell roughly 10 items in 3 weeks, set it to at least 10 so you don’t go out of stock while you order new stock)

6.  Click the blue ‘update’ button on the top right

Quick edit:

1.  Go to products, hover over the product and click “Quick Edit”

2.  If it is not currently selected, check ‘Manage stock?’

3.  Now set the ‘Stock qty’ to the quantity of items you have in stock of that product

4.  Click the blue ‘update’ button on the right
